The Mirza Abdollah Radif for Qanun

Among the surviving works in this context is the authentic Radif compilation by Mirza-Abdullah, one of the most impeccable and predominant music resources cited by almost every Iranian musician.

In this collection, Radif has been adapted for the Qanun according to the instrument’s specific techniques and playability for popularizing and educational purposes. I have tried to thoroughly study the subtle nuances of virtuosos like Nurali Boroumand, Madjid Kiani, Hossein Alizadeh, and Daryoush Talai among others in their performances or written sources with a view to maintaining authenticit"
